ACVS is collaborating with Arthrex Vet Systems to provide residents of ACVS-registered training programs with additional training opportunities in orthopedics and help strengthen the veterinary surgical community through shared innovation and education.

Course Lineup:

✅ Resident Fracture I: Fundamentals
November 16–18, 2026
Tailored for first- and second-year small animal residents, this course helps attendees build confidence in fracture management, focusing on forelimb and hindlimb techniques. Learn the principles behind common approaches and fracture types through hands-on practice with cadaveric specimens.

✅ Resident Arthroscopy I: Foundations
November 19–21, 2026
Establish a strong foundation in arthroscopy through hands-on training in canine and equine joints. This course is designed for first- and second-year residents specializing in both small and large animals.

✅ Resident Arthroscopy II: Next Level
December 14–16, 2026
Designed for second- and third-year residents working with small or large animals, this course advances arthroscopy skills through complex procedures and stabilization techniques. Small animal residents will explore arthroscopy of the canine shoulder, elbow, stifle, and hip, while large animal residents will focus on the equine coffin joint, digital flexor tendon sheath, femoropatellar and femorotibial joints of the stifle, and the navicular bursa. Sessions will cover both traditional and needle arthroscopy techniques.
