Prince Hairy the Grey is a 6 year old BLM Mustang based on his papers (I would guess he’s a little younger than that). He stands just shy of 14.3 hh.
His personality: Prince Hairy has completed his gentling requirements and is a total puppy gelding personality: nosey, curious, and wants to be in your pocket! Overall I would say he is very quiet for the length of time he’s been out of holding (only 35 days at the time of posting) He loves working with people and learning.
What he knows right now: Hairy knows how lead, basics of lunging, yielding hind, backing, started on standing tied, loves to be groomed, picks up feet, introduced to fly spray, baths, can be saddled, has had first rides, and has been in and out of the trailer.
Who would be a suitable partner for Prince Hairy: Prince Hairy could be a great fit for a first time Mustang owner working with a trainer or the experienced home looking for a fun project. He has the movement to really excel at dressage and seems to have the perfect mind for cruising down the trail. Really, Hairy just wants to hang out so whatever you’re doing I’m sure he’d be happy to do too!
How do you adopt? Contact Tori Bromme at (402)440-8457. You will need an approved application from the BLM (takes about 5 min to complete and Tori is happy to assist. There is a $25 transfer fee due to the BLM and a $2,500 training fee for Prince Hairy. He is ready to go home today or he is welcome to stay in my regular training program. I will offer a discount on his training rate if kept in my program to get fully saddle started. He will remain in training until sold.
