The season is coming up very quickly! In lieu of that, I have a couple updates & reminders!
Firstly, Dawson & I would like to announce we are expecting our sweet baby boy in November! 🤎🫶🏻
I know, I know, not the best timing for hunters & taxidermist, sorry guys! We will still be taking in as much as we can this year but there may be certain things we can or can’t take as well as cutoff points, so I just ask that you please call ahead to discuss what you’re looking for as we do not have set shop hours either!
Now the reminders…
🦌 Early season brings in some warm temps, which in turn allows for bacteria to grow quickly causing hair slippage & making most hides a loss. With that said, please please make it a priority to get it butchered/caped off as quickly as possible & get it in a freezer if you can’t get it to me right away!
🦌 As for skinning, please use a reference before making your cuts! I need the brisket & the armpits, I can always cut it down but I can’t put it back, so leave me extra & I’ll do the rest!
🦌 Finally, everyone from last year: I am still working hard to get as many mounts completed before baby comes, this has posed to be difficult over the past few months so production was a little slow but I appreciate your patience very very much!
