Hello everyone. (Sorry for the long post) We apologize for not posting/updating in a while. We have had an AMAZING 4.5 months on the road thus far. We have traveled to 7 states, 7 different RV Parks and logged 5600 miles. We even hosted a stop at one of the parks that had a CAMPER CRAWL. it is a like a progressive Happy Hour. We served, Jello Shots, Sparkling water, cupcakes and Spicy Texas Pretzels (A huge THANK YOU to Sophie Jaynes' Mom for the recipe) We also celebrated our 29 year Anniversary last week. Martin completed several races while he was in Florida. We are currently at Cedar Hill State Park just south of Dallas. We LOVE this park...HUGE lots, level sites, beautiful rolling hills, lake views and 30 minutes into Dallas. We actually will be back in Georgetown Tuesday afternoon for about 3.5 weeks before heading out the 28th of June. We have met new friends along the way and to our great surprise have run into them again weeks later at different RV parks. So many new friendships. We have enjoyed some of the region's best and most iconic culinary dishes. Shrimp - N - Grits, fried chicken, fried pork chops, sweet fresh from the farm Vidalia onions, fried green tomatoes, collard greens and untold quantities of sweet tea! Southern hospitality is still alive and well! We have lots TO DO while in Gerogetown, coach cleaning to remove the Georgia red clay LOL, a few DR appointments, and checking in on Martin's Mom. We also have to get our sweet Paris into to see her Vet. About 4 weeks ago, she "froze up." She would not walk or stand and quivered in what we suspect to be pain. We were in Reidsville GA and we had met a man that had 4 Frenchies. He recommended a vet. We could not have been more pleased. Paris had/has a herniated disk...not uncommon with the breed. The Dr prescribed a combination of pain and anti-inflammatory meds...and limited activity. She did daily cold laser therapy while we were in Reidsville. We are 4 weeks into the 4 to 6 week healing process and she is responding GREAT! She is down from 8 pills to 6 and we will allow her vet to schedule the remaining taper. She has been such a trooper...taking meds, being carried up and down steps etc... We often forget to take pictures, but here are a few assorted pictures.
