This big-hearted boy is Tonka, a mixed-breed pup born 2/9/2026, with a whole lot of life to live and a whole lot of love to give! 💙
Tonka is expected to grow into a large, possibly extra-large guy, although we can’t guarantee his final size.

This clever boy loves to learn and is always ready to put his paws to the pavement for his next adventure. Whether it’s exploring new trails, making new memories, or simply being your favorite sidekick, Tonka is ready to roll! 🐶🌲

We love having Pepper stay with us because she is such a fun and loving girl! Her favorite things to do during her visits are playing ball, playing with her canine buddies, couch snuggles, and snack time! 🐾💓✨

Dogs have a beautiful way of finding joy in the simplest things. They greet each morning with excitement, no matter how ordinary the day may seem. Their happiness reminds us that love, routine, and togetherness are often enough. Maybe that's a lesson we could all use a little more often.

I love pup friend snuggles and Tonka (my younger foster brother) loves them too.🩷🩵

It makes me so happy to have friends over and that my family can help these loving sweet babies like Tonka that have no home of their own by fostering.

✨🩵 Tonka is a 5 month old Lab mix from the Quad City Animal Welfare Center that will be available for adoption soon after he gets fixed.
