Echo is soaking up all the kid vibes today! 🥰 This sweet guy is one of our fosters and currently looking for his forever home. He’s about 1.5 years old, weighs around 55 pounds, and is a handsome shepherd mix.

Echo is a total lovebug — he adores being petted and, as you can see, he’s great with kids! 💛 He’s already got his basic obedience down and is just waiting for the perfect family to scoop him up.

When starting out in public it’s imperative to start right out of the gate! That means making the dog hold their “wait” command straight from the car. I want the dogs brain and attention on me which works impulse control and sets the whole tone of the outting.

Bear demonstrates this beautifully. You can see he was testing the boundaries a bit by stepping a foot out but a verbal and light no is all he needed to keep holding that wait!!

Brigid, Fergus, and Maeve got dropped off for boarding along with their 3 other housemates today! These three hit the pool and they acted like they had no time off! We’ll get the other three in tomorrow at they’ll be introduced to the pool!
