A little transparency from your local small business owner 🤠

This morning was one of those mornings where I was running behind after picking up inventory before opening. As we continue this quick transition into the new mini store setup, there may occasionally be mornings where I open a little later than planned while I juggle deliveries, inventory pickups, and store operations as a one-woman show until we get additional staff hired.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support during this transition. We’re working hard to build something more efficient and sustainable long-term while continuing to serve our local livestock and pet community the best we can.

The Mini-store is coming together 💗

This new setup is focused on making shopping quicker and more efficient while allowing us to expand deliveries, special orders, and warehouse inventory.

Diamond Double O Feed Co. is looking to add another part-time team member as we transition into our new mini store concept and expand our delivery and event presence!

We’re looking for someone dependable, flexible, and willing to jump in where needed.

✨ Duties may include:
• Assisting customers in-store
• Stocking shelves & keeping the store clean
• Helping prepare orders and deliveries
• Assisting with vendor events
• Basic computer/POS tasks
• Occasional lifting of feed bags and inventory

🐴 Agricultural, livestock, horse, or retail experience preferred but willing to train the right person.

🕒 Flexible scheduling available. Some Saturdays required.

This position is ideal for someone looking for:

As we transition into our new miniature store concept, expand our delivery availability, and increase our presence at vendor events on weekends and some evenings, we are adjusting our regular storefront hours.

Tuesday – Friday
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Open as scheduled depending on vendor events, deliveries, and travel weekends.

🚚 With our shift toward a warehouse + delivery model, this schedule allows us more flexibility for morning deliveries, event attendance, and special order pickups while still maintaining consistent in-store shopping hours.

⚠️ Please note there may also be occasional evenings each month where we close early to attend vendor events until we are able to expand our team and add additional staff coverage.

This week is MOVING WEEK as we transition into our new mini store location! Because we’ll be packing, hauling inventory, setting shelves, and moving equipment, our store hours may be a little inconsistent during the move.

BUT we are still available and still getting customers their feed, supplements, pet food, forage, tubs, and other products throughout the week.
