Here is the stall and RV assignments. Hope this makes check-in run smoothly. Some teams specified if they needed 30 amp or 50 amp hook-ups. If you need something different than I have you assigned, we will try and fix it when you get to the expo tomorrow. Please give me a call at 936-559-8222 when you know about what time you will be arriving so I can have someone meet you there to check coggins and get you situated. Pre-ordered shavings will be labelled, on a pallet next to your grouping of stalls . Please do not take shavings that don't belong to your team. There will be extra shavings to purchase if you need more. I will be re-posting the arena practice times, so those evening spots will change slightly. I removed the 5 minutes transition time between teams to allow one more practice slot so all the teams would get some arena time. Thanks for your patience, hope all your packing and travel plans run smoothly. The weather is going to be great! See y'all soon.

Thank you for your quick response for the practice schedule. Doing the group text was the best way I could find to make sure everyone saw the post immediately and could try and get a practice time that works. Short amount of practice time and lots of teams makes it hard to squeeze everyone in. Hopefully it will all work for everyone. Here's the Practice Schedule for Friday evening. Please make sure you have exited the arena when your scheduled time is over so the next team doesn't have to wait and miss some of their scheduled time. thanks

Here is the schedule for 2025 Drill in the Pines. Please review and make sure I have your teams entered in the correct divisions. I have tried to distribute the teams so each team has maximum time between each of their runs. Some are quick turn overs, but I didn't really see any better way of getting more time. Let me know if you see something that's not right. thanks.

Here is the Entry Form for Drill in the Pines Competition on March 1st 2025, in Nacogdoches, TX. Please snap a picture of your form before mailing and send it to me at 936-559-8222 so we can get the schedule put together as soon as possible. If you would like to pay through PayPal, please use the friends or family option so there are not any extra fees, make a note as to the team name, what it's for, and use [email protected]. T-shirts will be on purple with the awesome new design introduced last year. I hope all of you have been able to squeeze practice in around the weather so far. We had a huge turn-out last year and are anticipating another great competition this year.

I hope this is all correct. Here is the updated Stall/RV map. This is such a great year for Drill. We have the most teams ever attending drill in the Pines. We have actually reserved every single stall....plus a few "not stall" stalls. Wranglers ends up needing 2 more stalls, so if there are any teams that have any horses not coming that they were expecting, leaving any open stalls, please comment. Thanks for working together to make this a smoothly running event.

I will fill in the practice time slots in the order requested on this post.

3:50-4:30- Texas Spirit Riders Semi Pro
4:35-5:15- Texas Spirit Riders Jr.
5:20-6:00-Stars
6:05-6:45- Bells
6:50-7:30-Lone Star Legacy
7:35-8:15-Brazos County Faith Riders
8:20-9:00-Red Dirt Riders
9:05-9:45-Rides for Christ Drill Team
9:50-10:30 Cowgirl Congress Rodeo Drill Team
If we need to add more time slots later we can. Thanks for your patience. It seems that everyone's time stamps are in a different order. I'm doing the best I can to get every team that needs a practice time a spot. Please keep in mind that there are already 10 teams entered with several more to come, and 13 practice slots. If you have multiple teams in your group and need extra practice time, we will limit it to 2 time slots. If there are some empty spots still on Friday of the event, you may be able to get more time, but we want to make the arena available to all of the teams if they need it. Practice will be 40 minutes with 5 minutes in between to clear the arena. If you are late to your assigned time, you still need to be done and out of the arena for the next team so we can stay on schedule. This will be on your honor because we won't have anyone managing the practice schedules. We have alot of banners on the rails for this competition and we want everyone to have the opportunity to introduce their horses to them. Arena sizes differ as well, so this is a good time to make sure you know where center is, etc. Thanks!

Many have asked me about shavings for Drill in the Pines event. It is not required to buy from the facility. If you choose to bring your own, no sawdust is allowed, please use large flake as it's easier for the facility to clean up after. They do offer them at $8 per bag for your convenience. If you would like to pre-pay for your team, please let me know the number of shavings and we will have them on a pallet next to your designated stalls on Friday. Please only use shavings labeled and assigned to your team. If you need shavings on the day of the event you can contact Miriam at 396-559-8222 or find a Roselake Representative and we will help you. Please find attached a list of the teams who have reserved stalls, RV hookups, and shavings. If anything is not correct, please let me know. you may comment on this post to reserve shavings, or text me at 936-559-8222. Thank you for your cooperation and helping to make everything run smoothly. Practice reservations need to be made on the Practice post please.

Here is the completed schedule for Drill in the Pines Drill Competition March 2nd as of 2/26/24. If there are any mistakes or problems that you see, please comment, so I can correct the error quickly. Thanks again to the prompt responses from the teams. This is going to be a great Competition with lots of teams participating. Remember, if you need shavings, it's easier if you pre-order them. If you are arriving on Friday, please give me a call at 936-559-8222 as you get close, to let me know what time you will be arriving so we can have someone check your coggins and check you in. The t-shirts ordered will be packaged as a team and handed out at check-in. If you order extra that are not on the original entry form, please note which team they are for. Our Judges will be Kelly Young and Ruth Holt. We are excited to have such a large group of competitors, and have some great prizes this year!
