Leave them alone if:
Eyes are open or
Baseball size or larger or
Fully furred

Update: Owner has been found, thank you!!

Picked up by the Britt Police Department off the 500 block of 1st St SE.

He is neutered, no microchip but does have what looks to be a worn bandana from a groom. Very sweet and wants to get back home!

To reclaim, we need to have proof of up to date rabies (we can give one here for $27 if he does need one) as well as a $50 impound fee.

Update: Owner was very quickly found! Thank you!

Impound alert! An older male lab was dropped off by the Britt PD. He was found on 2nd Ave SW in Britt.

Does have a microchip that’s not registered or even searchable, did have a grey and black bark/perimeter collar on.

Please help us find his owner!

Another important post:

For those that don’t know, Dr. Bruce was gone this week for a Continuing Education Conference in Las Vegas. His flight back to the Midwest this evening has been cancelled due to the weather here. For all those who are scheduled for appointments or surgeries tomorrow, please stay tuned as we will be calling whenever we can get in to the clinic to reschedule.

Due to the obvious weather outside, the clinic is not currently staffed or open. Our one available employee in town is caring for the pets next door at the Resort. We will up date this page as we have more information!

Dr. Bruce will be out of the clinic Thursday, Feb. 13th and will not be back in until Wednesday, Feb. 19th.
The clinic will still be open regular hours for any sales of pet food, etc.

Monday, Feb. 17th - President's Day
The clinic will actually be closed this year on President's Day, so please plan accordingly!

We currently have a client who came across this stray kitten and is looking for a home for her!

She has had her first exam with us, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV as well as had her first distemper combination vaccine and rabies. We are estimating her to be about 9 months old (Spring of '24 kitten), and a petite little thing! If interested, please reach out to us so we may get you in contact with the client!
