Two of the best girls came in today for their bi-annual senior wellness exams!
Shadow is the most patient girl for her full exam but her sister Daphne is a little more unsure about things. Luckily, with some cheese for distraction and her wonderful mom for support, she does great for her senior exam which includes measurements of her thigh muscles to ensure she continues to maintain healthy muscling into her later years.
Shadow and Daphne are apart of our GLOWing seniors, meaning their mama brings them in every six months for exams with and they get at least annual wellness bloodwork. As a thank you for keeping up with her senior pups health, their mom will get a percentage discount of their visit that equals their age!

Meet Taz and Dixie, two charming 9-year-old Boston terriers who visited and for their 6-month senior wellness exams. Despite their less than thrilled expressions, they are proud members of our GLOWing seniors program!

Our GLOW (geriatric lab work and ongoing wellness) program promotes proactive care for senior pets. This tailored wellness plan supports early detection of age-related health conditions through regular exams and lab work, with no signup fees or forms.

To participate, simply follow our senior care recommendations: schedule wellness exams every 6 months and complete annual lab testing. As long as you stay current, your pet remains enrolled and receives exclusive benefits.

As a token of appreciation for prioritizing your senior pet's health, enrolled pets receive a discount equal to their age on qualifying GLOW services, including biannual senior exams and yearly lab work.

We'd like to introduce Bo Berry Biscuit and share his experience during his first appointment with PVS Garner and . Our fear-free approach helped Bo relax, and he received his vaccine without a hitch. However, shortly after leaving, Bo's owners noticed he was open-mouth panting, which prompted them to rush him back to us. We quickly administered medication and closely monitored him until he recovered. Bo is now back home and doing great, and we have a plan in place for his future vaccines.

Bo's owners did an amazing job advocating for their pet's health, and we're grateful for their trust in us. As a reminder, while mild vaccine reactions can occur, severe reactions are rare and require immediate attention. We're committed to providing exceptional care and look forward to many more happy, healthy visits with Bo and our other furry friends!
