Heatstroke Happens Fast
☀️ Northern Nevada’s dry heat can fool you…your pet may be overheating before you even notice.
Watch for signs of heat exhaustion:
🔸 Excessive panting
🔸 Bright red gums or tongue
🔸 Drooling, weakness, or collapse
Avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, carry water, and never push your pet to keep up. Dogs don’t cool off the way we do.
When in doubt, take the walk later, or skip it altogether.
