👩‍⚕️Future Vet Friday: Watch Addison Grow One Skill at a Time!

Addison is a Biology major at Friends University in Wichita, and plans to attend vet school at K-State! While home on summer break, she has been assisting our technicians. Addy has had the opportunity to handle pets for various procedures. This week our surgery techs taught her surgical prep as well as multiple techniques for monitoring vital signs during anesthesia. She even had her 1st successful blood draw! 💉

Our team has enjoyed being able to mentor Addison not only because they love spreading the joy and knowledge of veterinary medicine, but also because teaching helps them solidify and hone their own skills. 🧠💪
