September is Happy Cat Month! 😸

Our feline friends deserve a little extra love, attention, and—of course—treats next month! 😻

Happy Cat Month is the purr-fect reminder to celebrate everything that makes our cats so special while also making sure they’re getting the care they need to live their happiest, healthiest lives.

✨ Some ways to keep your kitty happy:
🐾 Schedule regular wellness exams
🐾 Keep them mentally stimulated with toys, puzzles & playtime
🐾 Provide plenty of cozy resting spots
🐾 Keep their litter box clean
🐾 Give them lots of love and attention (on their terms, of course 😉)
🐾 Stay up to date on preventive care

And remember—cats are experts at hiding when something is wrong. Regular veterinary visits can help us catch potential problems before they become bigger ones.

Bringing home a new puppy is exciting… but don’t forget about socialization! 🐶💕

Socialization isn’t just about meeting other dogs. It’s about helping your puppy feel comfortable and confident with all the things they’ll encounter throughout life—new people, sounds, surfaces, car rides, handling, grooming, and YES… trips to the veterinarian! 🩺

✨ Pro tip: Make vet visits a positive experience from the very beginning. Lots of treats, praise, gentle handling, and patience can help your puppy learn that the vet is a safe and happy place!

Starting these positive experiences early can make a HUGE difference as your puppy grows. ❤️

Anyone recognize this sweet boy?

A nice gentleman found him hiding under his truck this morning in the Fountain Gate neighborhood.

He isn’t neutered, has a bark collar on and would like to go home! He is microchipped however is not registered to an owner. We currently have him safe here at Oakbrook.

First vet visit nerves? We’ve got a plan… and it involves ALL THE CHEESE, HEAD SCRATCHES & EXTRA LOVE! 🧀💗🐶

One tech becomes the official lap pillow + head scratcher, another takes on cheese duty, while a third quietly gets those ✂️ toenails trimmed.

Because when it comes to your pup’s first few visits, we’re not afraid to do whatever it takes to make their experience as positive and stress-free as possible. 🥰
