Tiny Tim 💝

LONGEST IN-HOUSE FELINE RESIDENT 💙

Tiny Tim, our longest-waiting feline friend.

Despite his name, there's nothing tiny about this handsome guy! Tiny Tim has a larger-than-life personality, plenty of opinions, and a heart that's just waiting for the right person to discover it.

Tiny Tim can be a little sassy at times, but he also loves cheek rubs and enjoys being held when he's in the mood. He's looking for a home without young children where he can settle in and be himself.

Tiny Tim is FIV+, so any feline companions in his new home should also be FIV+, and he will need to remain an indoor-only cat.

This sweet boy has been waiting far too long for a family of his own. If you're looking for a cat with character, charm, and lots of love to give, come meet Tiny Tim during adoption hours.

Let's help Tiny Tim find the home he's been waiting for. ❤️

The First Time Percy Came Back
The first time Percy came back

he was not sailing on a cloud.

He was loping along the sand as though

he had come a great way.

"Percy," I cried out, and reached to him—

those white curls—

but he was unreachable. As music

is present yet you can't touch it.

"Yes, it's all different," he said.

"You're going to be very surprised."

But I wasn't thinking of that. I only

wanted to hold him. "Listen," he said,

"I miss that too.

And now you'll be telling stories

of my coming back

and they won't be false, and they won't be true,

but they'll be real."

And then, as he used to, he said, "Let's go!"

And we walked down the beach together.

What a session with Kathryn looks like.
It is my belief that we are all animal communicators...an original language open to all of us. When having a session with me, we will touch upon this because I feel this is an important part of the outcome of a session. Session can be done remotely or in person. Sessions also can be for animals present and past. When connecting with an animal, all my senses are working together. In my minds eye, I see images of the animal in question as well as anything they want me to see...this can look like snapshots and/or moving scenes. I hear words and also feel them.. I get strong intuitive hits.
I feel sensations on different parts of my body that tell me about what is going on in the body of the one I'm having a session with. I also get tastes and smells as part of this.
At the heart of each communication session, my intention is to communicate as best as I can what the animal wants to share in a way that their human companion hears the message.
This is always shared with respect, kindness, and the well-being of both animal and human companions. My goal is to offer tools to empower both.

Kathryn Drage is an Animal Communicator, Medium, and Energy Worker.
Kathryn has been communicating with animals and nature for as long as she can remember and publicly for over 20 years. She connects with animals present and past for various reasons... from health to behavior. It is her passion to assist in bringing harmony and empowerment to both animals and their human companions. As well as communication, Kathryn infuses Medical Intuitive Techniques, Reiki, Integrative Energy Technique, and Tellington Ttouch methods. All of these are respectful and empowering to all receiving them.

Session's offered with an animal, past or present. Facebook messenger video, phone or in person at your home.
Remote sessions can be set up for any amount of time you want.
The housecalls are one hour minimum ( always welcome to hire me for longer) and if you live more than 20 minutes away from me...I ask for a donation towards gas ( this depends on distance and for a lengthy trip I would set a specific amount for travel fee).

Fee for a session is 150.00 per hour.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of meeting this sweet pup.
His person invited me into their home to see what he had to share, and from the moment I arrived, he showed me his true colors: jovial, good-natured, playful, and incredibly charming. From what his person shared, many people don’t get to witness this side of him — at least not right away.
During our time together, several supportive tools and approaches came up, including shifts in food ingredients and the use of flower essences. But one of the most beautiful parts of this experience was the reminder that the thoughts, feelings, and energy we carry truly make all the difference.
It would be easy to say that I came in with some kind of magic touch. But honestly, what happened feels even more beautiful than that. His person chose to welcome me into their home with trust. They believed I would meet him without judgment, no matter what behaviors I saw. And with those thoughts and feelings, the shift had already begun.
I truly believe we are all animal communicators. He sensed the change immediately. He knew he was about to meet a new friend who would love and accept him exactly as he was. That realization seemed to take the pressure off, and from there, the rest was magic.
Another thing that deeply touched me was the love and devotion his person has for him. The care, understanding, and willingness to support him in every way was beautiful to witness. They have both found a very special place in my heart, and I feel so honored to have been part of this experience.

It’s so easy to get caught up in what’s not working — the barking, the pulling, the reactivity, the perceived "stubbornness" or "resistance". When we live or work with animals, it’s natural to notice the things we’d like to change to make our lives easier.

When a student brings an animal to a training we invite them to introduce them to the group. Their name, age, breed, level of training a little background, why they came to the workshop - which invariably leads to discussing some challenges, physically, mentally or emotionally. It is totally understandable to highlight the things we want to change about an animal's behavior - those difficulties are usually what drives us to learn more and do better BUT we always remind guardians to pause and acknowledge what they love about their animals, too.

Sometimes, behavior can overshadow personality in our minds — yet behavior is simply a reflection of how an animal is feeling and responding to the world around them. It’s not who they are.

Taking a moment to remember the gifts, quirks, and qualities you appreciate helps you approach challenges with more calm and compassion. It builds self-control, helps you take things less personally, and reminds you to give your animal (and yourself!) the benefit of the doubt.

The next time you find yourself frustrated, try this: say out loud three things you love about your animal. Notice how your energy shifts — and you are better able to understand where the behavior is coming from and use your skills to give your animals better ways of coping. It all comes back to learning to act rather than react, the same way we hope to have our animals respond to new or stressful situations.

"It's a half- joke I tell at parties, but there is truth in it: cats don't pretend. They don't say yes when they mean no; they don't smile when they are about to strike. They grant affection when they feel safe and retreat when they need space, and in these gestures there is an honesty I crave. Loving a cat requires a respect for autonomy and a willingness to be okay with not always being the center of someone's world. In return, you get a connection that is real, not out of obligation but out of choice. And that kind of mutual respect is something I'd pick every time."
