Fun fact: Dr. Trammell’s very first cat was a polydactyl orange tabby named Tiger. She found him at the ballpark as a kid and had him until she was in college. 💕 🐈

🚨 ⏰ Monday mornings are indeed alarming! 🤔 Did you know that we have team members that arrive bright and early to start patient treatments so that we can keep medications on a strict schedule as well as let those dogs out to potty right away? This all happens before we open so that patients are more comfortable and so we can be ready for you when those doors unlock at 7 am…and it happens 7 days a week, 365 days a year, whether we are open or not! Take a peek and see if you can guess which ones are morning people when our alarm system snaps their photo! 🤪 🚨

We’ve got several exciting announcements headed your way, and we’re kicking things off with a very special one: one of your old favorites, Dr. Metcalf 🥰 is coming back to Mercy Animal Hospital in Gardendale!

After moving to a practice closer to home (and her daughters’ school and extracurriculars 🥎) 4 years ago, we’re beyond thrilled to welcome her back to the team! Also, HUGE congrats to her for successfully sending off 2 brilliant girls to college during that time!

Around here, we consider our team to be family — we’ve stayed in touch all this time, hoping and unashamedly praying this day would come.
