Health Tip
The "White Bowl" Test
Check the hydration.

The Tip: Regularly use a white water bowl and look for any pink or orange tint left on the ceramic after the water is gone.

The Science: A pinkish hue often indicates Serratia marcescens bacteria, which thrives on moisture and fatty deposits from saliva. It can lead to urinary tract infections or gastrointestinal upset.
