Meet Rocket – A Survivor with a Heart of Gold

Rocket is a six-year-old male cat who was surrendered to ACCT Philly due to severe constipation. Multiple enemas failed to help, and he was placed on the euthanasia list. Stray Kitty Rescue intervened, and Rocket was rushed to Ryan Veterinary Hospital. After several days of veterinary care, it was determined that his condition could be managed with a high-fiber diet and occasional Miralax or Lactulose. He now has a clean bill of health and is thriving.

Following his recovery, Rocket was placed in several foster homes where he continued to flourish in calm, stable environments. He was briefly adopted, but the fit was not ideal, and he was sadly returned. Rocket has demonstrated an affectionate, curious, gentle, quiet, loyal, playful, adaptable, and smart personality. He has also shown that he is good with other cats and dogs.

Rocket’s remarkable resilience is evident in his survival of a life-threatening medical condition and his ability to blossom in foster care. His personality combines calm affection with occasional playful bursts. His medical needs are straightforward—he thrives on fiber-rich food and occasional laxatives. Rocket does best in a low-stress environment that values routine and understands his history.

Rocket is still seeking a forever home where his story is understood and his needs are met! He offers quiet companionship, loyal affection, and moments of play. Meet our amazing adult and senior cats who are waiting for foster care.

Turnip, rescued from Berks Animal Rescue League, may be shy at first, but she has the potential to blossom with love and care.

Butterscotch, a 12-year-old senior, is a laid-back and easy-going cat who was pulled from the Cat Collaborative in 2023.

Carl, also from Berks Animal Rescue League, is a shy but loving cat who is almost ready for adoption.

Buddy has made an incredible transformation from a stray to a loving companion.

Broccoli, rescued from Berks Animal Rescue League, is a sweet and affectionate cat who loves human interaction.

Swirly, pulled from The Cat Collaborative in 2023, has grown from a feral kitten to a confident and social cat.

Clayo, rescued from ACCT Philly, is a loving cat who enjoys giving nose kisses.

We’ve pulled Jenna and her 7 kitties from South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED: Mama Cat + 7 Newborn Kittens 🚨

We are looking for a trustworthy, experienced, and gentle foster for a mama cat and her 7 tiny neonates (just a few days old!) This sweet mama needs a calm, loving space to safely raise her babies—and we won’t place her just anywhere.

What We Need:
🐾 Someone with experience caring for mama cats or newborn kittens
🛑 A quiet, secure, indoor space (a spare room or bathroom is perfect—no garages or basements)

⏰ Someone who is home often or works from home to keep an eye on them
📸 Willing to send regular updates and photos
❤️ A person who will treat this little family like they’re their own—with respect, patience, and love

We Provide:
🧼 All supplies (litter, food, bedding)
🏥 Medical care for mama and kittens
☎️ Full support—you're never on your own!

This is a vulnerable family - We are NOT placing them with just anyone. We will require a short screening and we may request a virtual home check or photos of the space.
