🚨 We are dangerously full 🚨

We’ve taken in a large number of animals in the last week from back-to-back cruelty, abandonment, and safekeeping cases, and they’re coming in faster than they’re leaving.

We’re now doubling up kennels just to make space.

Adoption fees are still WAIVED! We need adopters, fosters, rescues, anyone who can help. Even sharing this post makes a difference.

Every open kennel gives another animal a chance.

Please come adopt or help however you can. Time matters. 🐾

🎓 TRAINING WHEELS THURSDAY 🎓

Talkative, clingy, and full of personality 😅 Meet Wolf.

Wolf comes out of his kennel like a pro, but may start off a little unsure, walking low to the ground at first. Give him a moment though, and once he’s outside, he relaxes and really starts to enjoy himself.

He LOVES affection. Belly rubs, pets, attention… all of it 💛 And fair warning, he will talk back to you about it 😂 This boy has opinions.

🍖 Treat motivated
🎾 Learning fetch
🧠 Knows “sit”

Wolf is also pretty clingy and just wants to be close to his person. And when it’s time to go back inside? He might have a little protest… (laying down and refusing to move is his go-to move 😅).

He’s a sweet, vocal, affectionate guy who just needs a little guidance and consistency to keep building confidence.

🎓 TRAINING WHEELS THURSDAY 🎓

All energy, all the time 😅 Meet Lucy.

Lucy is a playful, enthusiastic girl who comes in HOT. She can be a little tricky getting out of her kennel and isn’t a big fan of going back in (she’d much rather keep the fun going).

She’s jumpy, full of excitement, and still learning that play biting and nipping aren’t the best ways to show her love. Right now, she just doesn’t quite know what to do with all that energy, but with guidance, she’s going to figure it out.

Lucy will need someone patient and consistent who can help her work on:
🐾 Jumping
🐾 Play biting/nipping
🐾 Kennel routine

The good news? She’s playful, engaged, and ready to learn. She just needs someone to help show her the way.

Lucy isn’t a “perfect right away” dog, but she is a fun, high-energy girl with tons of potential.

If you’re ready to put in a little work and get a whole lot of personality in return… Lucy is your girl 💛

🎓 TRAINING WHEELS THURSDAY 🎓

A little unsure at first… big clingy energy once he’s in 😅 Meet Warren.

Warren can be a bit hesitant getting out of his kennel and may need a little encouragement to get going, but once he’s out and starts to feel comfortable, you’ll see a whole different side of him.

On leash, he’s still learning. He can pull pretty hard at times, and other moments he’ll lag behind if he’s unsure, so he’ll need someone patient to help guide him and build his confidence.

The good news? He’s both treat and toy motivated, which will make training a lot easier 👏

And once he settles in? Total velcro dog. Warren becomes very clingy and just wants to be close to his person.

He’s not quite there yet, but he’s got all the pieces. He just needs someone willing to help him put them together.

If you’ve got patience and want a dog who will truly bond with you… Warren is your guy 💛

🎓 TRAINING WHEELS THURSDAY 🎓

Clingy, cuddly, and just a little quirky 😅 Meet Lucas.

Lucas is convinced he’s a lap dog and honestly, he’s not taking no for an answer. This sweet boy loves to be close to his people and will happily stick by your side all day.

He walks well on leash and comes out of his kennel nicely, making him a great companion for getting out and about. He’s also both treat and toy motivated, which is a huge plus for continued training 👏

Now for his “in progress” moments:
Lucas does like to mark outdoors, so he’ll need some consistency and structure in a home. He can also be a little unsure about certain things, like leashes/ropes and even the vet’s stethoscope, so building his confidence will be important.

Overall, he’s a sweet, affectionate guy who just needs a little guidance and reassurance to feel fully comfortable.

🎓 TRAINING WHEELS THURSDAY 🎓

Sweet, curious, and a little clingy 😅 Meet Steel.

Steel is a gentle, affectionate boy who came out of his kennel like a pro and showed off some really nice leash manners on the way out. On the way back in, he got a little more excited and pulled a bit. But hey, he just wasn’t ready for the fun to end.

He’s very sweet, loves pets, and is both treat and toy motivated, so he’s got all the tools to keep learning and improving 👏

Steel is also super curious about his surroundings, always taking everything in and wanting to be part of what’s going on.

And fair warning… he thinks he’s a lap dog 😅
Personal space? Not really his thing.

Steel is the kind of dog who just needs a little consistency and guidance, but already has such a loving, fun personality.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who wants to be right by your side… Steel is your guy 💛

🎓 TRAINING WHEELS THURSDAY 🎓

Velcro dog energy… with a little chaos 😅 Meet Turner.

Turner is a sweet, high-energy boy who just wants to be with his person... like, always. He loves to cuddle, be involved, and is happiest when he’s right by your side.

Because of that, he does struggle with being alone. Turner has separation anxiety and can get stressed when left for long periods, which can lead to accidents, even though he is otherwise housebroken.

He’s also a bit of an escape artist 🚨 so you’ll need to stay on your toes with him!

The good stuff:
💛 Knows “sit”
🐾 Loves to cuddle
🐱 Usually does well with cats
🐕 Prefers female dog friends (selective with males)
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Does well with kids (just monitor with little ones, he can get jumpy when excited)

He LOVES stuffed toys… but they don’t last long 😅 Durable toys (like Kongs) are definitely the way to go.

Turner does pull on leash and will need continued work there, and he can guard high-value items like bones (and any stolen table snacks… those are his now).

He’s not perfect, but he is a really good boy who just wants someone to spend his life with.

Turner would thrive in a home where he’s not left alone often and can truly be someone’s constant companion.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving dog who just wants to be by your side… Turner is your guy 💛

🎓 TRAINING WHEELS THURSDAY 🎓

All gas, no brakes 😅 Meet Taz.

This happy, outgoing boy is always ready for the next adventure. Taz hopped right into the car, claimed his front seat, and rode like a pro. He clearly loves being on the go 🚗💙

He’s super social and confident, happily engaging with new people and taking in busy environments without a problem. Taz is just excited to be part of whatever’s happening.

Where he’s still learning? Leash manners.
Taz is strong and pulls out of pure excitement! He’s got places to go and things to see! With continued training (and possibly a harness), he’s going to make a great walking partner.

He’s playful, affectionate, and eager to engage, and appears to know “sit.” He also showed great manners when it came to handling and sharing space (and yes… he’s a big fan of pup cups 🐾).

Taz isn’t a low-energy dog. He’s a fun, active guy who just needs a little guidance to channel all that enthusiasm into being his best self.

If you’re ready for a lively, lovable dog you can grow with… Taz is your guy 🐾

🎓 TRAINING WHEELS THURSDAY 🎓

Big boy, soft heart 💛 Meet Titan.

Titan is a strong, sensitive guy who’s still figuring things out. New environments can make him a little nervous, and right now he’s more focused on his surroundings than on people, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t sweet.

Because he is.

Underneath that cautious exterior is a gentle dog who just needs time, patience, and space to feel safe. He’s not super interested in toys or treats at the moment, so building trust with him will come from consistency and understanding.

Titan isn’t going to be an instant “best friend” kind of dog but give him time, and you’ll earn something even more meaningful.

He’s a work in progress, but one with a lot of potential for the right person.

If you’re patient, calm, and willing to go at his pace, Titan could be your most rewarding companion 💛
