We provide a safe, permanent home for special needs seniors & hospice dogs. We are limited on how many dogs we take in; this is based on needs and funds. All dogs are provided constant vet care and necessary medications, including heartworm & flea/tick prevention. We are always in need of: pee pads, dog food, frontline (dogs up to 22 lbs). This little guy will arrive tomorrow! His name is Scout and he is 10 years old. His lungs are scarred and he has some stomach issues, will know more after receiving his records and seeing the vet Wednesday. His Mom is dealing with health issues also and can't take care of him in the way he needs. His owner is driving him here from Florida and paying for whatever medical care he needs going forward! So appreciative of that as we are maxed, every one of our dogs has had a surgery or dental in the past 6 months. Thanks to all your generous donations, I can start paying that down to a "comfortable" level. Just one more dental to go, Alfie.
