GRAY PAWS Senior Haven My name is Andrea Scherer, I am a retired Chicago Police Officer. I provide a permanent sanctuary for senior, special needs, hospice dogs.

I provide a love & comfort along with vet care in their final chapters. I appreciate donations and I am self funded We provide a safe, permanent home for special needs seniors & hospice dogs. We are a registered 501 non profit. We are limited on how many dogs we take in; this is based on needs and funds. All dogs are provided constant vet care and necessary medications, including heartworm & flea/

tick prevention. We are always in need of: pee pads, dog food, frontline (dogs up to 22 lbs). Elmer went in for what we thought would be a major dental & hernia repair. Turns out his teeth looked horrible but NONE needed to be pulled. The hernia turned out to be a fast growing fatty tumor which was removed. This 17 year old dog is simply amazing and such a good boy! They have all been extra good since I broke my back. I think because Daddy is the boss right now?🤪
