Welcome to Maggie May's! I'm super excited to begin working with folks in the future and very happy to meet all of your furry/feathered/scaled friends! Here's a little information about me, so you'll know what to expect and who will be caring for your animals!
My name is Sarah! I am 18 years old, born in Gallatin Tennessee, and I have been raised around animals since I was very young. Maggie, who this business is named after, was my first pet who we adopted when I was only three years old; a foster dog who I ended up growing up with. Throughout my years growing up, I've had the great opportunity of raising several animals, including chickens (all of which I named and cherished), cattle, dogs, cats, horses, and more. That girl who you saw videos of finding baby birds and raising them until they could survive on their own? Yep, that was me!
As I went through Highschool I made it my goal to learn everything I could about animals, and from a very young age I'd decided I would become a Veterinarian, or at least have animals involved in my future. Today, I have been out of Highschool for nearly a year and have completed all of the Agricultural and Veterinary courses offered in our school and have previously competed in several FFA competitions while there. This year, I was hired as a Vet Tech at a local Vet clinic and recently have taken a step back to work on bettering my mental health and focus on working on a better schedule for myself. Now, I intend on sharing my love for animals that I'm sure most of you have!
As someone who recently lost their best friend this year, I know how important our animals are to us, and it's for that reason that I want to provide the best possible care to both you and your pets. Let's make everything as stress-free and blissful as possible!
