We are getting ready for Mags litter. I look for them around April 29 th. We have a process of covering the carpet which involves a tarp, plywood. Flooring. This week I’ll set her whelping pen up so she can get used to it. She is doing well. Sleeping more as her body prepares for motherhood.

I was able to take a short trip to FL with family for 3 days. Much needed break. Had the privilege of visiting one of Rosie/Thunder pups on the farm and orchard she lives on. Remi sure had kisses and I think she remembered me. Always special to see one of our pups and visit their family. Thanks to the Young’s for showing us your place and your passions. She has a lake just out the door where she loves to spend time. She has a good life for sure.

We are always looking for healthy things to feed and do for our dogs. For awhile I just fed them the egg shell along with the egg, especially the thin lining in the egg. Sometimes it’s hard to peel it out but it contains a lot of calcium. We feed duck eggs since they have twice the nutrients for our dogs.
I had read on making the shells into a powder to make it easy to digest. After asking for a coffee grinder for Christmas. I’m sure they wondered why she doesn’t drink coffee. lol
So here is the process and it’s going well so far.

As we look at 2025 in the rear view mirror it was again another year we met such wonderful famlies. Chuck and I say often how great it is to meet such caring loving famlies. We take what we do very seriously and love each and every dog we have and puppies that we are blessed with.

We do get messages often asking about what 2026 is going to look like.
Our answer as of now is, we are planning a Mags/Kona litter, probably being born in May. Repeat bredding as this breeding has been such a good match
We will start deposits for this litter soon.

Also Rosie/Drake. Looking to breed in May with pups in July. Another repeat bredding as these pups have been another great match.
Of coarse things can change for sure. We do have a list started for both litters

Lady/Drake may be another bredding. We will see how heat cycles come about. We are choosing not to do double litters again.

Here are our dogs we get to love on each day, hike with, hunt with and just snuggle at the end of the day.

We had a morning with Frozen Fog last week and it was perfect for updated pictures.
