We’ve added two very talented people to our staff recently. Tara Morgan on the left recently moved to Galesburg and just completed her coursework at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and passed her test to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She was awarded Veterinary Technician of the year - an award given to a student that is enthusiastic, supportive of classmates and has above average technical skills! She has also worked at other veterinary hospitals in Iowa.

On the right is Kylie Price, who is also an English professor at Carl Sandburg College. She joined us recently as a client services representative. She handles appointment scheduling, phone calls, payment processing and more. She is upbeat and loves to care for her community through teaching at Sandburg, and now caring for our clients and their fur babies.

We are striving to meet the ever growing needs of our community’s pets, “Because Your Pet is Worth It”! Please welcome Tara and Kylie!

The patience and talent of our staff is amazing. Skadi gradually calmed down as Miranda spoke softly to her and Cheyenne offered reassuring strokes as she re-bathed her. Skadi’s sedation had worn off and they had to wash diarrhea from her bottom. She’s a nervous dog, but these awesome team members turned a stressful ordeal into calming success. It’s these daily success stories that make what we do truly rewarding.
