Market day!

Peppers available tomorrow at the Galesburg Farmers Market! 8:00-noon. We also have Kennebec potatoes, cherry tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, and fresh herbs. Starting in September we should have winter squash ready! Butternut squash are curing right now.

Hello everyone! Due to an unexpected shortage in product this week, we decided to cancel our attendance at the Galesburg Farmers Market tomorrow, August 8th. We operate a CSA that gets priority (they have already paid!) and we didn't feel we had enough left over after issues with tomatoes splitting and pests getting to cucumbers and beans.

We hope to pick up an extra week, hopefully in September when we will have peppers, tomatoes, and pumpkins ready.

We WILL be at Lake Storey on Sunday, but may not have much to offer. We'll see what we can harvest tomorrow evening.

The remaining scheduled markets are:
August 22nd
September 5th
September 19th

We may also pick up some fall events. Keep an eye on our page for updates, and thank you for all the support!

It will be a full weekend for us!
We will be at the Galesburg Farmers Market Saturday, and out at Lake Storey Sunday!

Join us in 4 Days as we hold our First Annual CommunityGro Summer Social!

Whether you’re competing, cheering people on, or just coming for the food and Farmers Market, there will be something for everyone.

Food vendors include Smokin' Wi***es BBQ, Taquería Jalisco on wheels and Sass’ Kitchen!

Farmers Market vendors that will be in attendance that day are Flacco Family Land & Livestock, Prairie Punk Farms, Elementary Earthworks, LLC, Henn House BBQ LLC, K&K’s Sweet Paradise, Crooked Row Farm Illinois and Flour & Fibers LLC

Competition for the sidewalk chalk art and cardboard boat races begin at 12:30pm.

Potatoes, carrots, summer squash, and TOMATOES available today until noon!

Squash City:

While some plants are starting to wear out from the heavy production we saw in June, many others (particularly winter squash) are just getting started! I felt like I was watching these plants double in size overnight.

Another beautiful morning at the Galesburg Farmers Market! This could be the last week for squash for a while, so get some while it's still here!
We also have an assortment of carrots, beets, and the ever-present kale.
