Hello everyone! We wanted post a quick tribute, as we’ve lost a long time supporter. Bob Rooks spent a lifetime helping foster and adoptive children through work with Daniel Kids and in his home and raised wonderful people, he also participated in his wife Geri’s rescue efforts including numerous Pei, Pei transport adventures, and foster fails. Although they also fostered racoons and more recently, kittens, Bob was well known for sharing his lap and recliner with a trusty Pei. Here he is with a particularly special foster fail dog, Toby, who insisted on sharing air and the chair. Our sympathy to Geri and RIP to Bob.
