PSA, be careful when dealing with people...I almost got "hood-winked" this weekend! Trying to sell some quilts and a "shady dealer" tried to pull a fast one on me about paying through PayPal. I knew it looked suspicious when they would not let me send them a bill to pay. Then at the end when they started saying the FBI was going to come take me away, I knew they were scammers. Suddenly they closed the chat and left when I refused to " play their game". I called them out as scammers. They had a fake PayPal phone number and e-mail, it was through a google acct not a .com. And their FB name was different than their pay pal e- mail. All kinds of red flags going off! Their phone person "just happened" to be the same person on each call..no wait..and the wording of the English language was terrible in the e-mails. When they wanted me to pay them in order to get my payment was the last straw!
Low down, dirty, thieving scandals!
Tied me up for awhile.
Wasting my Sunday evening.
