This is Liam. He has cerebellar hypoplasia, so he's kind of wobbly when he walks. All the shelters are on intake holds because there are so many kittens needing homes right now. But Liam absolutely cannot be returned outside where he was born because his condition will make him easy prey for predators. So the orphanage is going to take him in and find him a great home. He combo tested negative for feline aids and leukemia and got his first vaccine today. He also has the worst coccidia infestation, I've ever seen. Those are coccidia eggs under magnification in the second picture. We need to raise funding to pay for his vetting. Please share and consider donating for Liam.

It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that baby Harvey didn't make it. He was lying on his blanket next to me in bed while I read, the pain meds seemed to have made him comfortable. I glanced down as I finished a chapter, and he was just gone. RIP Harvey, I'm sorry we couldn't save you. Any donations left over after I pay his medical bill will be used to rescue another kitten in his honor.

The x-rays didn't show any obvious breaks, but there is a fair bit of swelling around his rear, and he seems to be in some pain. The vet has added pain meds and we are hoping for some improvement in the next couple of days. Kitten Update...Harvey is leukemia/fiv negative. he did very well through the night. Food is going in and coming out like it should. He is still not walking well. We are x-raying today to see if there are any fractures. $40 for the combo test and $120 for x-rays in case anyone wonders where your donations go :) please ask your friends and family, every donation helps

Friends, I often have fosters for other organizations. I get some supplies from these organizations and some I buy out of pocket. Sometimes I end up with animals that don't have a rescue backing them, and I end up using my rent money to feed and vaccinate them to get them out of bad situations. I occasionally ask for help but usually have to get by as best I can. This month supplies really added up and I am going to be pretty short on rent money.
