From my partner in crime, best friend and co-breeder Nancy Ager: "The "Journey of Alice" has been pretty special from the beginning! Her show career started in March with an owner handled Greater Charlotte SSC WB/BOW 5pt Speciaty win under Mrs Peggy Browne . Another Specialty WB/BOW owner handled win at the Spartanburg SSC in May under Hector Hector . Tabitha Hortenstine and I then turned her over to Lexy Jessee AND oh goodness...the magic followed. Lexy finshed Alice at the shows in Atlanta with 2 more majors and 2 BOB wins over Specials from the classes. Thank you, judges Debbie Melgreen and Carolyn Herbel for the majors and BOB nods!! Since she was already entered at shows...Lexy took her to work on her Grand points....but her first weekend out as a Special....became the thing dog show dreams are made of!! In Ocala at the Citrus County KC shows...on Friday judge, Dr. Jose Luis Payro, gave her the breed....followed by an amazing Group 4 under Michael Canalizo. Saturday, another BOB, under Peggy Beisel-Mcllwaine, followed by a Group 3 under David Kirkland. Sunday, BOB under, David Kirkland, then onto a fabulous Group 2 under Peggy Beisel-Mcllwaine. Tabby and I are so excited by the reception this young Sheltie girl has received..thank you judges....and thanks go to Lexy...and also to Thomas Mccarthy for taking her lead for the Breed wins. You guys are a GREAT team!!
