People have no idea how much a groomer deals with…especially when your dog weighs 80lbs+ and is not cooperative and gives a hard time for everything…bath, blow dry, nails, ear cleaning etc. Dog grooming is a strenuous job…the clippers we use are professional grade and weigh about 3lbs, so to repeat stoke after stroke, trying to maneuver the clippers with one hand while holding your 80+ lb dog up with the other hand, is a lot of work. The smaller dogs can be just as tiring, depending on their attitude and being wiggly. 🐕🐩🐾❤️ So please respect your groomer.

Some older dogs are cooperative and some dogs aren’t. I have taken on the worst of the worst, tried my best at fixing dogs when customers try to groom their own dogs, groom old anxious dogs, groom dogs who are old and can’t sit still, etc!! I pride myself and If you’re not happy with something…say something!! Because it can always be fixed! So with that being said…I will no longer be taking on extreme elderly dogs.

I love what I do… especially when I can make the babies look beautiful and feel better. Whether it’s a flea bath to get rid of the itchiness and the fleas or whether it’s a full groom, blow dry, fluffed out, brushed out and given a haircut… I love what I do and it makes it easier when the dogs enjoy it. But I am not gonna sit here and have somebody lowball my prices and pay me what they feel like or want to pay, when my prices are actually lower than everybody, even if it’s by a few dollars. I have given so many discounts and so many deals…. It’s put me in a financial situation. The cost of my supplies have increased, every other day gas prices are high or they’re low, paying someone to work with me costs money, the cost of maintenance for my vehicle is costly, insurance prices are through the roof, and having to buy a whole new truck definitely was not easy.  I’m also exhausted from people booking appointments and then canceling and then wanting a refund. I clearly say on my booking app that I do not refund if you cancel at the last minute. It also clearly states do not use the booking app if you are outside of the Gainesville and immediate surrounding area. I am a mobile groomer and throughout the day I have to have alot of drive time to get to where I need to go, I don’t do the volume as a shop does because they are sitting still and they don’t have to get to each clients home. Also if im working on a dog or driving, calling me back to back to back is frustrating, thats why i have a booking app!! Calling me or texting me at 9pm or 2:42am for an appointment is rude. I have always been nice and always been very flexible and accommodating to everyone…. And it’s like the more I am nice and accommodating and flexible…. The more I am taken advantage of!!! Please respect me and my time! 🐾🐩🐕❤️
