🎃🐾 HALLOWEEN SAFETY TIPS FROM YOUR FAVORITE 165-POUND GOOD BOY! 👻

Archie here! Halloween is fun for the humans, but there are a few things us four-legged family members would like you to know before the ghosts and goblins arrive.

🍫 Keep the candy to yourself! Chocolate and xylitol (sometimes labeled birch sugar) can be dangerous for dogs. And those candy wrappers? Not snacks either.

🚪 Watch the door! Between trick-or-treaters, costumes, and the doorbell ringing 427 times, even the best-behaved pups can get overwhelmed or slip outside.

🦴 Skip the scary snacks! Candy, raisins, and other Halloween goodies aren’t meant for us. Stick to pet-safe treats instead.

🕷️ Costumes should be comfortable! If your pet isn’t feeling the outfit, don’t force it. Not everybody wants to be a hot dog. Some of us are perfectly happy being a 165-pound Saint Bernard.

🎃 Keep decorations out of reach! Glow sticks, electrical cords, and open flames can turn a fun night into a trip to the emergency vet.

🐈 Don’t forget the cats! My big brother Jersey would like to remind everyone that cats need a quiet, secure place away from all the Halloween commotion, too.

And one last thing…

Make sure your pets have updated ID tags and microchip information. Just in case someone decides to go on an unscheduled Halloween adventure.

Stay safe, have fun, and remember: the only thing that should be scary tonight is the decorations. Not what’s in your pet’s treat bag.

🐱 Management has been informed that today belongs to Jersey.

Apparently, having your name on the company doesn’t mean you get every holiday.

Today, my big brother Jersey is taking over. He’s been supervising operations from the beginning, and he would like everyone to know that Archie’s Provisions isn’t just for dogs.

He’s even got his own line of treats — Jersey’s Stash. 🐟

Happy National Cat Day to the cat who answers to no one. Especially me.

🐾🎃 I WAS PROMISED A WALK AND A PUMPKIN!

So Mom and Dad told me we were walking down to The Marketplace to visit our friends and pick out a pumpkin.

A WALK?! Say no more! I’m in! 🐾

And a pumpkin?! YUM! I know what that means… PUMPKIN BITES! 🎃😋

Well, friends, apparently Mom left out one teeny-tiny detail.

SHE HAD A PLAN. 🙄

And it had absolutely nothing to do with pumpkin bites.

Next thing I know, she is trying to convince me to stick my big ol’ Saint Bernard head through a giant candy corn!

Seriously, Mom? CANDY CORN?! 🌽

Now, I love my Momma, but there are limits.

She tried once. Nope.

She tried again. Still nope.

She laughed. Dad laughed. I stood my ground.

THIS SAINT WAS NOT HAVING IT! 🐾😂

I mean, have you SEEN the size of my head?!

Eventually, Mom gave up on her masterpiece, and I got to go back to doing what I came for… sniffing around, visiting our friends, and helping pick out the perfect pumpkin!

And speaking of pumpkins…
