People sometimes act offended when the term “pet dog” is used. Especially in the same post with the word “sport dog”. When does a pet transform to a sport hmm ? Video clip - pet owners transforming into sport handlers. Jezze are I are working on a modified contact heel. Because contact during heeling is a point deduction. Confession. I’m a point freak. At home. Lol. On the field we just hope I live through the trial to pass. 😂

I really like this idea. Working dog games! Hmm. What would be the interest in pet dog games and what would that even look like? Lol. Time to garbage can dump over. Quickest jump up onto the couch? Fastest to cry when mom leaves the room?

Today I found this set of videos by American Schutzhund on Vimeo. You don’t have to sign in to watch. About 2 hours of material here. I found the detection dog ie scent training and started with that. The trainer is basically throwing a toy in the tall grass and they let the dog find it. A simple scent work game. Videos are by “Dooley”.
