At just a year old and 76 pounds, Sammy is a gentle giant who is still figuring out how big he actually is. He loves playtime, loves people, and absolutely loves water! We captured this huge grin during his afternoon pool party, and we haven't stopped smiling since.

These 2-month-old siblings are an awesome Hound / Alaskan Malamute mix, weighing in between 10 and 16 lbs. They’ve got the gorgeous looks of the Malamute combined with the sweet, loyal nature of a Hound. Basically, they're bound to release nothing but hits.

We teamed up with the BISSELL Pet Foundation for their 10th annual "Empty the Shelters" event, and our Northeast Georgia community showed up in a HUGE way.

Every adoption doesn't just mean a happy ending for one pet—it opens up a crucial spot for the next animal coming through our doors during this busy puppy and kitten season.

Hi there! I’m Kathleen, and I heard a rumor that June is National Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month. Personally, I think it should be 'Adopt-Kathleen-Month,' but I’m willing to share the spotlight. 💅

Join us for our Free Dog Vaccine Clinic! Ensure your pups are healthy and protected with our community wellness event 🐶❤️

When: Saturday, June 13th, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Where: St. Paul United Methodist Church, 404 Washington St NW, Gainesville, GA 30501

Please note: The event is first-come, first-served, and it is highly encouraged to arrive early. This vaccine clinic will serve dogs only.

Services Offered
We are providing the following free of charge:
Rabies
DHPP
Microchips

To ensure the safety of all pets, owners, and our staff, please adhere to the following:
Dogs must be on a secure leash at all times.
For the safety of everyone, we are unable to treat pets that are unmanageable or pose a handling risk.
