Tomorrow is National Take Your Cat to Work Day, so if you’re looking for the ultimate office assistant, 2-year-old Deborah is ready to apply!

She is currently our longest-stay resident, waiting since January for a family to call her own. Deborah also has feline asthma, meaning she needs a little extra love and medical care, but she pays it back tenfold in purrs and companionship.

The future of animal welfare is in very good hands! 🐾

We just wrapped up an unforgettable week with some of the most big-hearted kids in Northeast Georgia. Our campers dove headfirst into shelter life, getting hands-on experience with daily animal care and discovering what it truly means to champion the pets who need us most.

Whether they were spending quality socialization time with our residents or learning the inner workings of the shelter, these young advocates brought so much passion and empathy to every single day.

Keeping families together, one healthy pup at a time. ❤️

We are so excited to share that we were able to provide essential veterinary care to more than 300 local pups at last weekend's free vaccine clinic!

At HSNEGA, everything we do is rooted in our mission of helping animals and people live better together. Accessible preventative care is a huge part of that vision. By supporting local pets in need, we aren't just protecting their health; we are helping keep families together where they belong.

An impact this big takes a village, and we have some major thank-yous to send out. First, a massive shoutout to Charities for their incredible generosity and for making this event possible.

We also want to recognize our amazing volunteers. Your hard work and energy kept everything running flawlessly. We truly could not do this without you.

Finally, thank you to our amazing community for showing up and doing your part to protect your beloved pets.

When Amalina first went into a foster home, we knew she was in good hands, but we had no idea just how much she would truly blossom.

While in foster care, her foster brought her to one of our brand awareness events, and we were blown away by her progress. Her confidence was soaring, and her joy was contagious. It turns out, her foster family felt that magic too... because he officially adopted her!

The adorable "Adopt Me" sign she’s sporting was hand-made by him and his niece for an adoption event she attended!

This is the life-changing power of fostering in action. It gives pets the time, love, and space they need to show their true colors.
