This Women’s History Month, we are proud to highlight Florida Acupuncture and Counseling, Inc., a woman-owned integrative healthcare practice serving the Gainesville community with comprehensive, whole-person care.
Founded and led by Damita Hartz, AP, LMHC, Inc Florida Acupuncture and Counseling brings together licensed mental health counseling, acupuncture services, massage therapy, and wellness classes under one roof. With a multidisciplinary team of several skilled providers, the practice offers evidence-based therapy, trauma-informed care, stress reduction, pain management, preventive wellness services, and more.
Grounded in the understanding that the brain and body operate through the same central nervous system, Florida Acupuncture and Counseling takes an integrative approach to healing—addressing emotional, physical, and nervous system health together rather than separately.
