Hello all, we hope everyone is well. We've been busy taking care of our family and have had to take time to do so. We've come across Mimi, a female Maltese that was my mother-in-law's, who now needs a new loving forever home. We're looking for the right family for her. Unfortunately, we can't keep her, but we'd like a younger owner since she's had two elderly parents who had to surrender her in the past. Mimi is not spayed, and one of our requirements is that the new owners must have this procedure done and provide documentation of the procedure performed. Personality: Mimi is a white, mini Maltese we're unsure of her age, but she's not a puppy. She might have had puppies at some point, but the vet couldn't tell. She's very sweet and happy, easy-going with other dogs (at least with our six at home). She's semi-potty trained, not through any fault of her own, but because her elderly owners used pads inside the home instead of taking her out. We're working on taking her out to teach her, so it's a work in progress. We use disposable diapers inside the home to avoid accidents. We've updated all her shots, and she's on flea, tick, and heartworm treatments. We're asking for a rehoming fee to cover our costs for her care thus far and to find an owner serious about Mimi's well-being. She was very loved by my mother-in-law and now needs to find another loving home. Please share this with anyone you think would be ready for a serious interview and is ready to give her a new home. Please don't call us and say you need to speak to your partner about getting a dog. This is only for people who are financially, mentally, and physically responsible and ready to adopt.
