We would love it if every pet got to live in the house with their people and enjoy fun quality time outside, but that's not the case. Some live outside full time, and others stay outside while their humans are at work. In either of these situations, owners in Jackson are legally required to meet certain standards of housing. Dogs must be over 6 months old to live outdoors, and they have to have a wind and waterproof dog house with 4 solid walls, roof, floor, and adequately sized door. They also have to have a separate source of shade, constant, clean water, and a sanitary environment. Make sure you're meeting the requirements so your pup can be safe and comfy.
