We’re at week 5 here on the mountain and had a look at the distal limb with Destiny Cole Goble. Our class today had great questions, they got to practice putting bone sets together to test their knowledge, and got to experience anatomy with a very hands on approach.
We can’t wait to see how their view of the hoof and leg have changed with seeing the internal structures of the horse. The most impactful lesson of the day was being able to see bone loss at the tip of P3 and how that bone loss can inhibit a toe crack from ever healing.
