Another Equine Distal Limb Dissection in the books. Last one for the year. It’s always amazing to watch students make connections and have light bulb moments as they get the see what the internal structures look like.

I hope they take this experience and do amazing things with it throughout their careers helping horses.

Another Anatomy Lab in the books for the April/May Class.

We were lucky with this one. We got to explore calcification of the DDFT, articulating cartilage deterioration within the coffin joint, and a cool view of the vascular system running throughout P3.

A big thank you to horse owners that are willing to donate after a horse passes away. You help to create better farriers with a more open mind to how their work affects the horse from an internal perspective. You just can’t see these things on a live one.
