🐾 A Bittersweet Goodbye from Our Pack 🌴
On June 17, 2022, I started this little dream of a business with two things: a heart full of love for dogs and a deep desire to help people who, like me, were going through tough times. Back then, I was fresh out of a divorce, my mom was in the hospital for 6 weeks, I was living with family—and my own pups were staying in a boarding facility. I remember how hard that was. I promised myself that if I could ever build something, it would be a place where dogs felt safe, happy, and loved—no matter their human’s situation or budget.
Since then, we’ve grown into something beautiful. I’ve donated countless free nights, kept my prices affordable, and found an unexpected joy in dog photography (who knew getting photobombed by a doodle would be the highlight of my week?). Each dog taught me something different—patience, joy, resilience, how to hide snacks in weird places… and each one left paw prints on my heart.
Now, it’s time for our next big adventure: we’re moving to Puerto Rico. 🌴 It’s a huge change, and though I’m excited, my heart aches a little knowing I won’t get to see your pups’ happy tails or sleepy snuggles anymore.
So from the bottom of my heart—thank you. For trusting me. For showing up. For letting me love on your fur babies like they were my own.
And now, a few words from Happy and Snoopy (who insisted they get the last word):
“Hi frens! It’s us—Happy and Snoopy! We just wanted to say THANK YOU for all the tail wags, zoomies, and shared sticks. We loved teaching the new pups how things work around here (especially how to get extra treats by doing ‘sad eyes’). We sniffed every butt, chased every squirrel (real or imaginary), and barked at approximately 76 delivery trucks for the team. We’ll miss you all SO MUCH—but don’t worry, we’ll be barking in Spanish soon. Adiós, amigos!” 🐶🇵🇷
