Founded in May 2013, Wags To Riches began as a dream turned reality when owner and founder Connie Williams transitioned from the corporate world to pursue her passion for animals. With a deep love for pet care and a bold entrepreneurial spirit, Connie became certified in grooming and launched her business from a home salon. Her commitment to quality, compassion, and a cage-free philosophy quickly earned her a loyal clientele. In 2017, Connie opened a storefront in Fuquay-Varina, where her personalized, crate-free grooming approach helped the business flourish and continue to grow. During the next 8 years, the salon grew and became even more successful because of the one commitment she keeps for the client’s - to never crate any of the dogs and to always “groom with a personal touch”. Wags to Riches is a woman owned small business and a true success story! Connie credits the success to the talented, hard-working and dedicated staff at the salon. She says her team is by far the most dedicated, caring and reliable team that any owner could wish for. “Without these girls, Wags wouldn’t be as successful as we are today”, says Connie. Today, Wags To Riches operates in a modern, state-of-the-art facility, offering expanded services to meet the needs of pet parents. In addition to our signature cage-free grooming, we now provide doggie daycare and overnight boarding—creating a safe, fun, and stress-free environment for your furry family members, whether they’re visiting for a quick groom or an extended stay.

To Our Valued Clients,

We would like to address some confusion regarding our grooming price adjustments for 2027.

For the majority of our clients, the maximum price increase will be $10 per groom. Our pricing is based on several factors, including your dog's breed, current weight, coat condition, and the amount of time required to complete the grooming service.

During our recent pricing review, we discovered that some clients were still being charged based on their dog's weight when they were puppies. In these cases, pricing may increase more than $10 to accurately reflect the dog's current size and the time needed to provide quality grooming services.

Before assuming your grooming cost has increased significantly, we encourage you to reach out to us directly. We are happy to discuss your individual pricing and explain any adjustments that have been made.

Please know that this decision was not made lightly. Over the past four months, we have conducted a thorough analysis of grooming rates in our area and are confident that our pricing remains fair, competitive, and in line with other professional groomers.

Happy times at Wags to Riches today! 🐾❤️

I was able to capture pictures of all of our daycare dogs, and everyone got to spend some quality time with their favorite playmates. From playing and exploring to simply enjoying each other’s company, it was another fun-filled day!

What a wild summer we are having! We have pups that love lounging in the pool, vegging out in the cool shade with the mister’s blasting them like they’re at a doggy spa. Then we have our very rambunctious crew that loves going bonkers with balls and our staff. Each week we will post most pictures of the daycare crews!

As we celebrate, let's ensure our furry friends are protected from scorching concrete, keeping their paw pads safe from harm. Keep them abundantly hydrated and sheltered indoors as much as possible, for tonight's fireworks will illuminate the sky, and our precious companions may struggle with the resounding sounds, just as we do.
