Founded in May 2013, Wags To Riches began as a dream turned reality when owner and founder Connie Williams transitioned from the corporate world to pursue her passion for animals. With a deep love for pet care and a bold entrepreneurial spirit, Connie became certified in grooming and launched her business from a home salon.
Her commitment to quality, compassion, and a cage-free philosophy quickly earned her a loyal clientele. In 2017, Connie opened a storefront in Fuquay-Varina, where her personalized, crate-free grooming approach helped the business flourish and continue to grow. During the next 8 years, the salon grew and became even more successful because of the one commitment she keeps for the client’s - to never crate any of the dogs and to always “groom with a personal touch”. Wags to Riches is a woman owned small business and a true success story! Connie credits the success to the talented, hard-working and dedicated staff at the salon. She says her team is by far the most dedicated, caring and reliable team that any owner could wish for. “Without these girls, Wags wouldn’t be as successful as we are today”, says Connie. Today, Wags To Riches operates in a modern, state-of-the-art facility, offering expanded services to meet the needs of pet parents. In addition to our signature cage-free grooming, we now provide doggie daycare and overnight boarding—creating a safe, fun, and stress-free environment for your furry family members, whether they’re visiting for a quick groom or an extended stay.
