Jane is one of those amazing people who’s 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 ready to jump in—whether it’s mastering a new skill, tackling an unfamiliar task, or finding creative ways to help an animal or a fellow volunteer. 👣💡

As CHARM’s Purchasing Coordinator, Jane makes sure we have everything our animals need to be happy and healthy. But that’s just the beginning—she also helps with transports 🚗, medical care 🩺, events 🎉, and yes… even the occasional bit of “general mayhem.”

Her fierce love for animals of every shape, size, and personality—and her “we can figure this out” attitude—turn challenges into victories and keep spirits high no matter what rescue throws our way.

Jane, thank you for your big heart, endless curiosity, and can-do spirit. You make 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗠 a better place for everyone—two- and four-legged alike. 💙💖💚

🐾 In Jane’s Own Words:

"I’ve always wanted to be involved in rescue but wasn’t sure how it could fit into my life. When a rescue opened nearby, I decided to check it out—and I was hooked. Seven years, two foster fails, and 45 fosters later, I’m still elbow-deep and loving every minute, even the crazy ones.

As CHARM’s Purchasing Coordinator, I make sure our happy, healthy animal friends have everything they need. But I also jump in wherever I’m needed—helping with transports (my first love), medical needs, vaccines, events, and fostering. My kids have grown up seeing puppies born, watching animals in the most dire circumstances turn into healthy, happy pets, and even facing the most difficult cases imaginable. One of them is now starting as a vet tech on the way to vet school.

Over the years, I’ve met the most wonderful people and made lifelong friends who are true kindred spirits. And if you know me, there’s a good chance I’ve helped you—or someone you know—find their perfect dog.

Animals are pure, true, loving souls. They’ve gotten me through the hardest times in my life, and I honestly can’t imagine my life without them."
