Animal licensing is changing in Mesa County.

Mesa County Animal Services is transitioning to a new online licensing system that will change how residents purchase and renew animal licenses.

Key changes include:
• Veterinarians no longer sell animal licenses.
• Grand Junction residents can now purchase licenses online.
• Residents outside Grand Junction city limits will be able to access online licensing beginning July 22.
