We said our final goodbyes to Cici, our dear clinic cat, today. Planting wild flowers with her will serve as a poignant reminder of her memory when they bloom.

As many of you know, Cici’s Pizza was our little clinic cat/assistant manager for the past 1.5 years after being surrendered to us. She would sit up front and greet our clients and “allow” them to pet her, even if it was quick (before she could sneak in a love bite😬). She would also make her rounds around the clinic to make sure we were doing what we needed to be doing. Typical micro manager 😆

Two months ago we found a mass in her chest via radiographs after we noticed her breathing was off one day. Within a few weeks, there were more growths in her chest. We decided we were keeping her comfortable until she was ready. She was, of course, very stoic but we could tell she wasn’t herself.

Unfortunately, Cici’s lost her battle with cancer on Friday evening and crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully, surrounded by her family (us). She ate a grilled cfa nugget and was surrounded with love. We miss her dearly but we take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering.

We love you so much Cici’s!

See you in the stars ✨
