We’re thrilled to have helped coordinate an incredible donation from our friends at Earth Animal to the Little Elm Animal Shelter — check out ALL these cases of No-Hide Chews (that’s more than 1,200 chews!) headed to some very deserving shelter pups! 🦴💛

Shelters like Little Elm — and so many others — are always in need of food, treats, and supplies. We’re proud to play a small part in supporting the amazing work they do every day.

Huge congratulations to Darran and his Australian Cattle Dog, Emmie, on an outstanding performance at their very first Barn Hunt trial!

The event was hosted by the Greater Dallas Barn Hunt Club and held right here at WAGD this past weekend.

Darran and Emmie have been dedicated students in our Barn Hunt program since January 2025, training with WAGD trainers Liz Alford and Victoria Johnson. Their hard work paid off in a big way.

Darran shared, "Liz and Victoria should get a ton of credit for Emmie’s success. They are amazing trainers and we are blessed to have them work with us."

Their successes include:
🏅 Qualified in all three Novice runs
🏅 Earned their RATN (Novice) title
🏅 Won High in Class in both Novice and Open (fastest qualifying time for all heights!)
🏅 Received a Judge’s Choice Award

WAGD Barn Hunt Trainer Liz Alford had this to say:
“They are an awesome team. She’s an incredible hunter, and he’s so dedicated to learning the game for her. They’re a lot of fun!”

We’re so proud of this dynamic duo and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next!

Due to icy road conditions, we are canceling all appointments and lessons scheduled for today before 2pm.
Classes and private lessons scheduled before 2PM are cancelled today.

If your appointment or class is AFTER 2 PM, we are planning to hold these sessions as scheduled. We will evaluate area road conditions throughout the day and communicate to you if there are changes.

We will notify you for rescheduling or class changes soon. If you were ending a Manners class and are unsure if you're eligible to enroll in the next level and would like to, please contact your trainer.
