A good foundation should carry beyond the usual
Taking this filly out on the trail gave us a chance to work on responsiveness, body control, and staying connected in a different environment. We worked through changes of direction, flexion, shoulder movement, controlled circles, and crossing water while allowing her to experience her surroundings.
The goal isn't to keep a horse busy every second. It's to develop one that can travel out, take in the world around them, and still stay attentive when asked.
Good horses aren't built in one ride. It's the consistency of the work that makes the difference.
One horse. One client. One session at a time
