Amidst lovely wooded acreage owned by long -time San Juan Island family two cabin/cottages available to rent overnight or for a week or for a setting for a retreat and/or wedding. Enchanting location to vacation, to curl up for a personal retreat, a honeymoon, or for a gathering of family and friends. The Nest and Gatehouse Cottage:
Nestled in the forest of cedars and firs. Lovely trails and walks

nearby. Close to Roche Harbor and English Camp. Peaceful sanctuary with birds, deer and other creatures. The Nest:$350 a night/ two night minimum

Swan Nest: Bedroom with queen bed and attached bath/shower upstairs. Kestrel Perch: Bedroom with queen and single bed and bathroom/bath around the corner, downstairs. Additional sleeping mat and linens available for a sixth person in loft. Kitchen fully equip. Linens provided for kitchen, bath, and beds. Gatehouse Cottage:

Kitchenette with microwave, small refrigerator, and hotplate (no stove/oven) , among other appliances. Loft with two single sleeping mats and chair, reached by ladder. Bathroom with shower. Clothes closet. Small covered porch and area for sitting in woods. Non smoking and no pets please. Both can be booked through Airbnb or through message here.

Sunday drive, after the recent rainstorm and before the next, blue skies with racing fat clouds, lovely light, a few birds, deer, and daffodils blooming. Had the big camera out too, taking deeper shots of the beauty around me, taking in the views that give this island home magic, and fill my heart with gratitude to the God of all creation for giving me the blessing of living here. It is a good reminder to take into the next week.

The Nest and Gatehouse Cottage: Nestled in the forest of cedars and firs. Lovely trails and walks nearby. Close to Roche Harbor and English Camp. Twenty minutes from Friday Harbor, WA. Peaceful sanctuary with birds, deer and other creatures.

The Nest: 1-6 persons Fully furnished kitchen and equip cabin. Two bedrooms, two baths and loft. Great room dining living and kitchen. Laundry room with washer/dryer. Heated with electric heaters with wood stove in winter. (In winter wood cost for longer term rentals will be added.) Deck and porch with furniture and propane barbecue. Swan Nest: Bedroom with queen bed and attached bath/shower upstairs. Kestrel Perch: Bedroom with queen and single bed and bathroom/bath around the corner, downstairs. Additional sleeping mat and cot and linens available for a sixth person in loft. Child crib/playpen available. Kitchen fully equip. Linens provided for kitchen, bath, and beds.

Price: November 1st – April 30th, $200 a night/ two night minimum / May -June 12th and September 16 - October 31st, $250 a night/ two night minimum / June 13th - September 15th, $300 a night/two night minimum.
