WDFR had a small hand in getting this beautiful girl to Lake Erie Lab Rescue this afternoon. She was found last weekend in the middle of the road and waited out her stray hold period with one of our favorite previous adopters (Yeller’s mom!). We hope she has the most amazing life and never knows another day of giving birth to another litter of puppies. ♥️

This morning, the white dogs from White Dog Farm Rescue represented our local Coshocton County shelter at the Health Department’s supply drive. Conversations focused on deaf dogs, the significance of Lyme disease vaccination and the appeal of hotdogs. It was a great morning! ♥️

We lost a wonderful friend last week. She loved animals and her dog was her best friend. Thank you to those that donated to WDFR in her name. We sincerely appreciate it. Please tell those that mean the most to you that you love them often. You never know what tomorrow holds. Rest easy, Gay...we'll see you when we get there.

Today was the day we were supposed to be adding to our White Dog Farm family. This cutie needed help and I thought he’d be a pretty good fit for our pack of whities. But he was sicker than anyone knew. I was with him and his amazing shelter friends when we said goodbye this afternoon. But not before I officially adopted him and named him Largo. He died as a Friers dog and he took his final car ride in the Boxerburban that has transported hundreds of dogs to safety. His final resting place is a beautiful shady spot right outside my window on White Dog Farm’s property. Before he closed his eyes, I told him to go find Cabo and Nashie, the two OG’s that WDFR is named after, and they’d tell him all about the crew still down here on Earth that he now shares a last name with. Godspeed Largo. We’ll see you when we get there. ♥️ 🌈

Back in our Florida days, Cabo and Nash attended a million career days and school camps to talk about the importance of being good humans to animals. Picking up right where Cabo and Nash left off, Crazy Gravy and Bims were rockstars today when we talked animal welfare advocacy to a bunch of amazing kids from Coshocton County schools. Two of Coconut’s kittens were also along for the ride. One kid asked me if I could tell the world one thing what would it be…spay and neuter, people!!! ♥️ What a great day!

Lagoon found his forever! ♥️

Lagoon was adopted to his forever home today! We're happy to say he's staying local and he's going to be a spoiled only kitty! He warmed right up to his new mom and dad. 💛 Happy life, handsome! 🥰
