🚨🐾 URGENT: FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED FOR ZEUS! 🐾🚨

💔 Zeus is running out of time, and he needs someone to step up for him!

Zeus is a 7-year-old, 80-pound Boxer mix in Northeast Ohio whose world is being turned upside down.

His beloved owner is terminally ill, and sadly, her family is unable to care for him. Zeus is currently staying at a boarding facility, but this is only a temporary solution, and the cost is becoming increasingly difficult for the family to manage.

Zeus needs a safe place to land, and he needs it urgently! ❤️

Zeus has already experienced more uncertainty than any dog should. After losing his first home, he was taken in by a kindhearted woman who gave him a second chance. Now, through circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Zeus is facing the possibility of losing his home all over again.

🐾 Meet Zeus:

* 🐶 7-year-old male Boxer mix
* ⚖️ Approximately 80 pounds
* ❤️ Neutered
* 📍 Located in Northeast Ohio
* 🏡 A home without other pets would be ideal while we learn more about his compatibility with other animals.
* 🐕 A big, strong boy who would benefit from someone comfortable handling larger dogs.

Zeus has been described as a good dog who did well with his owner. With so many changes happening in his life, he deserves someone patient and understanding who can help him feel safe and secure again.

💔 His owner is facing the end of her life. Our hope is that Zeus can begin his next chapter surrounded by love, rather than uncertainty.

We are urgently searching for a FOSTER or FOSTER-TO-ADOPT home willing to open their heart and home to Zeus.

🙏 Can’t foster? PLEASE SHARE! The right person may be just one share away.

❤️ Preapproved adopters: Please reach out to your adoption coordinator if you can help!

📩 Interested in helping Zeus? Contact Great Lakes Boxer Rescue to learn more.

Let’s come together and make sure Zeus has somewhere safe to go. 🐾❤️

The very last kitten from our last foster group officially found his forever home. With the white dogs of White Dog Farm.

Please meet Chili Friers, the newest member of our pack. I told him if he stays then he has to be as doglike as possible. Today we started walking him on a leash so he can join us on our nightly jaunts around the hood. I’ve fostered hundreds of cats and kept none. Until now. Guess there’s a first time for everything!

Welcome home 🌶️! 🐈

In one month our founder will be running the Columbus Half Marathon in honor of the dogs and cats that White Dog Farm Rescue helps each year. That’s 13.1 miles around Columbus! The funds raised from this will take us through the winter months when we supply straw to outside dogs who weather the cold and snow.

You donate $13 and she’ll run a mile for each of those dollars!

Someone come adopt this dude!

Chili is a typical five month old kitten that’s inquisitive and rambunctious. He loves new toys and out of everything we’ve bought for him to play with, a simple q-tip is his favorite and he can spend hours chasing it all over the house.

When he’s tired, he loves to snuggle. Like he’s a stage five mega clinger to his person. He’s happy to sit on your lap for an afternoon nappy while his purrs never stop.

He has grown up with two very large dogs that he adores. And he’s friendly to all new people who come and go from our home.

He still sleeps in his “apartment” at night and is fine going in around 11pm and will sleep until 7am before making a sound.

He’s litter box trained and has never had an accident outside the box. He enjoys his wet canned food for breakfast and will graze on his dry throughout the day. He also enjoys Temptations in the green bag.

Chili is an amazing boy. We’ve had him since he was just a week old and the first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was probably one of my dogs and their tongue! Since then he’s become their bestie. Even if his foster sister doesn’t always think so!

Whoever ends up adopting Chili is getting an absolute gem of a kitten. We’ve all fallen in love with him and that’s coming from a certified dog lady! ❤️
