Check out this Gentle Blue Eye Giant. Yeti is all around the best dog. Unfortunately for this boy he was surrendered at no fault of his own as his previous family just could not provide him a home any longer. Yeti was raised with 5 young children, since he was 8 weeks of age. He is a happy, goofy, character and just loves to have fun. He gets along great with other dogs his same size, he is completley house broken, crate trained, and just over all great mannered. He loves his plush bed and knows how to settle down and just loves attention and will make you laugh daily from his play style. As Yeti is a Siberian Husky he does have the common traits for prey drive so no cats, chickens or small animals.

He is great with respecting a fenced in yard this boy definitely won't be a off leash free dog as he loves being outdoors and running free as well as he could benefit from door dashing training.

This boy would make a great addition to a husky lover!

Hey Misfits Family and Friends we know it's been a bit but this weekend our founder and owner of Hidden Gem Kennels is hosting their first “Howl-oween” Parade on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1PM to 2:30PM!

HGK has become the home to some of our long term adoptable residents.

We invite our misfits and family to come celebrate Hidden Gem Kennels 1 year anniversary and enjoy some Halloween fun! Hidden Gem Kennels is owned by our founder Jenn. Come on down and show off your misfit in their halloween costume and support our long term residence as they join the parade. Jenn and our members would love to see how our adopted misfits are doing.

Bonus: Any misfit that comes down for the parade or books their first reservation and tour will receive one overnight free of charge or one daycare day.

Fun for the whole family! Trick or Treat for Dog & Humans, Prizes, Activities, Refreshments and More.

Our trusted judges will choose the winners from the following categories.

1. Best Duo ( Dog & Human )
2. Most Creative Pup Costume
3. Most Spooky Pup Costume.

We also encourage you to bring your friends, to get 25 % off (1) future service of your choice voucher.

Your friend will be able to enjoy a tour of our facility, learn about our services (Daycare, Boarding, Training) and meet our staff members!

For everyone’s safety all dogs must be leashed in their appropriate fitted collars (No Retractable Leashes) and all dogs must be up to date on Rabies & Distemper!

Our 4 year old misfit, enjoyed the morning out of the kennel today! Soaking up all the attention from a trip to the pet store to a nice walk to the river! He was so thrilled to meet new people and the much needed change of scenery!
Pongo might be big and mighty but don’t let that fool you! He was raised with young children, gets along with other dogs, fully potty trained and leash trained, UTD on all his required vaccinations, microchipped, neutured and most importantly ready to find his new forever family!!

Update and forever for our Roxy girl now Daisy. Daisy went to her forever home just about 2 weeks ago now and she is just loving up her new family and settlings into her surroundings. Miss Luna is still looking for her forever home! Luna came to us in state with her sister Roxy 1, at no fault of their own. Luna is around a year and a half, she is spayed and up-to-date on all of her required vaccinations, friendly with adults, children and other dogs. She is the perfect addition to any household, looking for an older pup that still has a lot of play in her, but has mastered potty training, crate training, and understanding boundaries. Luna is affectionate and playful but has no problem taking a long snooze after a long day. Luna has lived in a house before so this is not her first rodeo. Help Luna find her new home!

Yeti is a big bundle of love and goofiness. Yeti, is an athletic and friendly Siberian Husky. He's a 4 year old blue eyed gentle giant with a heart of gold. He's an affectionate and playful dog, who is also funny and a total goofball. He loves making his humans laugh with his silly antics and his ability to always make the best of any situation. Yeti is great with kids and other dogs, and he's a perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal and loving furry friend. Unfortunately, Yeti's previous family could no longer care for him. He was raised with five young children since he was eight weeks old, so he is a total sweetheart and loves to have fun. He's a happy, well-mannered dog who is completely housebroken and crate-trained. He loves his plush bed and blankie and will make you laugh daily with his playful personality. Yeti is a typical Siberian Husky when it comes to prey drive, so he is not a good fit for households with small animals. Pongo formally known as Martini needs help! Martini was adopted from us as a baby 3 years ago and now he is facing being kicked out of his home. Pongo is a Great Pyrenees American bulldog weighing 127 lbs. He is up to date on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella and is microchipped. At this time we are unaware of his heartworm status. We have not been able to do an evaluation on Pongo yet but per the former family. Pongo is good with people and children, potty trained. Unaware of if he is good with other dogs. At this time we are full and we have no fosters for Pongo to return to rescue. If someone is able to step up to Foster Pongo or if there is another rescue that can assist us with this large boy we would greatly appreciate it.

This is Faith a owner surrender from NJ. She's the most adorable small breed. Super friendly and she is wondering why no one wants to put in an application for her? We told her that adoptions are just nuts right now and the right family will scoop her up soon. Faith is a little cuddle bug and just loves to be in our arms or lap. She is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, house broken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, loves kids, great with cats. Gets along great with other dogs once she gets to know them but prefers larger dogs with a calm personality. Please apply to adopt or foster to adopt to be this little cuties forever.
