Sadly, due to my recent injury, Frankie will be offered for sale. I was excited about developing this special mare as one of my personal horses, but things have unfortunately changed.
Don’t Tell Frankie: Frankie
2019 16.1/2hh OTTB mare. Frankie is beautifully built petite girl, short coupled with excellent feet! She’s very sweet, clever, brave and curious. I think she would be a phenomenal Event or Jumper prospect.
Frankie has had some negative experiences in her life, so would not be suitable for a beginner at this time. She needs a very gentle, quiet, and patient experienced rider to help her though some anxieties. She’s a very kind mare but to see her flourish she needs to be produced correctly.
I’ve taken my time with her giving her a really slow and positive foundation which she has benefited greatly from. She lunges super with or without a Pessoa, stands perfectly in the crossties, bathes, very good ground manners, hacks around the farm alone, walk/trot/canter undersaddle, basic understanding of connection, light leg yields, working over poles.
I truly believe she’s a special girl, and am heartbroken I won’t be able to continue with her. I just know she will do great things with someone!
