Biscuit is a young Goldendoodle looking for a foster or forever home willing to give him patience, structure, and understanding while he settles through transition. Biscuit can be cautious with new people at first, but once comfortable he is described as active, loving, and very friendly.
He is reported to do well with other dogs and has lived successfully with a 2-year-old child. His family describes him as high energy, affectionate, and social once he feels safe. Like many doodles, Biscuit will likely thrive with routine, enrichment, exercise, and continued confidence building.

Neyru is a 4 year old South African Boerboel who has unfortunately found himself needing rescue through Lend-A-Paw Rescue after his owner developed dementia. The family is facing landlord restrictions and can no longer keep him, so we’ve once again been asked to step in and help this gentle giant.
Neyru is reported to be: • Dog friendly
• Good with people
• Gentle and social
• A well-started, family-oriented dog
Boerboels are known for being loyal, loving, and deeply devoted to their people when raised with structure, guidance, and proper training. Neyru deserves a soft landing while he navigates this huge life change.

Meet Trooper. A beautiful AKC German Shepard! Trooper is 5 years old , up to date and being neutered in a few days! He is a loyal and affectionate boy who needs structure, exercise and someone who understands the breed ! He is good with people and other dogs and is known to be super affectionate !

Meet Maximus! Maximus is a 7-8 month old pit mix whose family unfortunately couldn’t keep him due to housing issues. He is beyond affectionate and loves to play with other dogs. He is shy at first but once he gets comfortable, is a super silly boy who just loves to love and run around ! Due to his energy, we recommend he be with kids 8y+

Max (Maximus) is an adorable 7-month-old pit bull terrier mix. 🐶🐾 He is currently in foster, just waiting for his forever home. 🏠

Like any puppy, he’s still learning the ropes. Adopting a young dog is a real commitment—it takes time, patience, and consistency. But with proper training, guidance, and love, he has all the potential to grow into an incredibly loyal, well-behaved, and loving companion. ✨

Update on Delilah💕

We wish we could report a better outcome . Unfortunately after speaking to the vets at VREC in Westbury, they found a mass in Delilah’s stomach. After discussing the options with the vet and the rate that Delilah had deteriorated , the owner of Delilah made the tough decision to take her home and have a vet come to their house have her laid to rest.
Delilah was a sweet and energetic girl and she will be missed . Thank you to everyone who prayed , shared and donated for her ❤️
It takes a community ! RIP Delilah 💕

10 year old Rosie adopted “Rosie got her garden 🌿
After losing her dad and her brother just months apart, Rosie’s whole world changed. We got the call to step in, and from that moment on, it was about making sure she didn’t get lost in the system.
We shared her story. We showed everyone how special she is. And today… she went home. For good.
Her final home. Her garden. Her people.
This is why we rescue.
Senior dogs deserve their chance too 🐾❤️

Whatcha eating? Hi.

I’m Kitt. I’m hanging out over at the Valley Stream PetSmart. I’m a 4 yo female looking for a perfect companion.

Oh what would be my favorite date? Well…I’d just love to nature watch - I have a thing for birds especially. Then when we tire of that - well, we need to find a cozy spot, stretch out nice and long, then curl up for a long nap. So I guess you could say I enjoy the simple things in life.

‼️ URGENT ‼️ This is Delilah. We were contacted by Delilah’s owner who said Delilah was pooping blood and losing a lot of weight and not eating. We offered to have Delilah go to our vet to see what was going on.

Unfortunately Delilah is in bad shape. She has lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time, pale gums and having bloody diarrhea. Her bloodwork shows she is anemic and that her intestines are extremely inflamed. She was transferred to VREC in Westbury who needs to hospitalize her due how poor of shape she is in. The estimate for 48 hours was 7k-9k! 😫 We just don’t have that to help out.

We asked them to do a 24 hour estimate instead which brought us to the estimate shown here (last photo). We do not have this money to help this dog, we barely have the funds to help the dogs and cats in our care, but we couldn’t sit back and let Delilah suffer. Delilah needs your help. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider donating to help Delilah survive this! 🆘🚨 please repost and share even if you can’t donate!
