Update: We have been getting so many responses that we can’t read them all without crying (it’s so hard) so we will get back to each and everyone of you but we just need time.

Hello everyone! We hope this post finds you all healthy and safe. This is a very difficult post to write. This year was very hard on all of us especially not being able to open the petting farm because of Covid-19. As the year went on we found ourselves having to make the tough decision to close LeCronier’s Baby Acres for good. We will miss all of the groups that came out to visit us and we will also miss all of the families that we watched grow up as they came to see our animals and/or take a hayride out to pick your favorite pumpkin every year. We will miss all of our workers that grew up right under our eyes. It’s time for us to start a new venture, whatever that might be. But please remember that we are so grateful and thankful for you sharing your lives with us, we will miss all of you!

ATTENTION:

We are heartbroken to inform you that we have decided not to open this year.

Covid 19 has hit and there are so many uncertainties that go along with it.
- Can it be spread from human to farm animals?
- Can our animals host it and give it from one human to another?
- What happens if our animals contract it, can we take that chance of losing our herd?
- How would we wash each animal in between people holding, petting and feeding them? We can’t!
- How can we sanitize the straw after people are in contact sitting on it? We can’t!

We have a farm to take care of with animals other than the petting farm and crops to look after. We have to reduce the risk of getting sick ourselves.

So for the safety of our visiting classes, families, volunteers, and animals this is the best decision for us.

Stay safe everyone and we will miss you!

Sincerely,

The LeCronier Family

Unfortunately, we are going to be CLOSED until future notice due to Covid19. We will be having newborn babies that I will post on Facebook but you will not be able to come see, hold, feed nor pet them. 😢 We care about all lives so please stay safe.
