HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Well, all week we had fun days planned for costumes and outfits but we were busy and never took photos! Luckily, one of the team snapped these photos of one of our patients! Fun fact: two of our doctors are October babies, Dr. Love about a week ago and today is Dr. Brickel! It was a busy month of celebrating while caring for patients. Now, PSA, CANDY CAN BE TOXIC to pets and ruin our celebrations. Do not leave where your fuzzy babies can ingest.

A little life update from our previous team member. Riley is thriving while studying at Auburn University’s doctorate program for Veterinary Medicine. A few more years and we get to watch her help animals live long healthy lives. Give a big hooray and send positive vibes as she continues her journey.

For National Tech week meet Guyan! Guyan graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor in Science and worked at the University of Tennessee in the emergency department. She also spent some time working in Zoo’s. She is often involved in our breeding and neonatal cases. If you see her this week please wish her a happy Tech week.

Today, we’re here to tell you about Julia, LVT! Our orange cat loving, lab magic maker, cow and sheep wrangling team member. Julia came to us to work some hours as an intern while she was attending college. She finished her internship but her name remained one we kept talking about. So, we reached out and the rest is history. If you have an appointment please say Happy Vet Tech week to Julia (and she is about to celebrate her anniversary with her husband so go ahead and say happy anniversary too)!

Meet Mandy, LVT and her late kitty Miami. Mandy loves cats, she has a couple of kitties, a ferret, a bird and a spider or two. Mandy has helped us excel at being gentle cat handlers and can answer about any procedural question we have. Fun fact, Mandy is married to a talented LVT whom she shares a young son with. If you’re in this week wish her a happy tech week!

Photos of the rooms she was in today. Thought we would share a smile with you all. New kitten with a bow on collar living best life with a fuzzy bed and hanging out in lobby with glasses on makes me want to go on a bike ride. :)
