I just felt like I had to share a little reminder to start the day off today after seeing more and more less than desirable posts online in our goat community that's becoming some sort of standard of acceptability.
The way we speak — especially publicly — matters. You can have an opinion, you can have a preference, and you can even express disagreement… but when your words become arrows aimed at belittling others, you don’t just hurt them, you hurt your own credibility too.
You can’t publicly mock, shame, or insult people and then expect to do business with them like nothing ever happened. Respect and professionalism aren't optional in business! Is your opinion worth hurting those around you and your reputation?
When someone’s behavior or values undermine the respect and professionalism we strive to maintain in our goat community it's only fair to understand that no amount of money is worth aligning with negativity or extremism, as the company we keep has a far greater impact than any transaction. At the end of the day, it’s not about profit — it’s about preserving integrity and fostering positive relationships and positive relationships only.
