Happy Easter!!!

With starting a new chapter in my life to help better my horses, I got a normal job! It’s been a good week! Lots of learning for me as it’s different! Horses all got a very easy week! Monday I pulled Little A out and threw the bridle on and got on right away! She did absolutely amazing! Especially since this was maybe her 6 or 7 th ride! I’ve very thankful for a beautiful soul who came and worked with my horses Friday! Can not wait to see what she accomplishes!

Miss Athena is doing absolutely great! She sat for two weeks or so and I pulled her out and cantered for the first time! She also wore fly boots for the first time! And the best of all… her first ride outside! She did amazing! Did some obstacles which was also a first time undersaddle! There’s truly only good things I have to say about her!
Love my big old mammoth baby!

Double stall is separated again and grates replaced! Horses flipped flopped around to help keep the barn as quiet as possible! Old man Reggie is back in his original front stall, he’s very happy!

SV Training & Lessons will be taking a break starting May 1st of 2025. The end date has not been decided but we will be sure to keep updates on the horses. If times open up for lessons there will be a post on Facebook and also messages will be sent out. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

This clinic will be on building confidence in your horse and yourself! This will include ground work to start! We will work on a couple exercises to improve your horses muscle and the rider as well! We will go over some important body language from our horses that riders tend to miss. We will work on some obstacles and possibly some trust building games! I do encourage that you bring any questions that you may have gotten from Midwest Horse Fair or just any questions in general! It’s the year of thinking horse!
Bemer sessions will be available for an added fee!

Lessons are a fantastic way to get a start on your equine journey! It’s a great way to see how our equine companions can help in more than just learning to ride! Horses are a great therapy and also a great way to learn more about yourself! We have great horses that not only teach you to ride but to also trust!
Lessons are also a great way for you and your horse to grow together and to be safe! Training the horse can only go so far, training the rider can help take the pair a lot further with a lot less stress!
At SV Training & Lessons we do it all! We would love to help with your knowledge of horses with our own or one of yours! We have a beautiful indoor arena and nice green pastures to ride on weather depending.
Things we help with the MOST; confidence building, speed/ gaming, getting trail ready, obstacles, trailer loading, ground work, and green horses.
